Frequently Asked Questions

How is Cushion Grip different from other denture adhesives?

Cushion Grip is a thermoplastic adhesive that fills the gaps between your gums and dentures, creating a snug, comfortable fit. Unlike regular cream adhesives, it softens with hot water for easy application and hardens as it cools, offering a stronger, longer-lasting hold.

It isn’t a glue adhesive; it works like a soft reline. A single application lasts up to four days and is waterproof, so it won’t wash off during daily cleaning. Cushion Grip adheres to your dentures, not your gums.

Which dentures are compatible with Cushion Grip?

Cushion Grip can be applied to both upper and lower denture plates and even partials. It is safe for use on all types of porcelain and plastic plates.

However, it is not suitable for extremely ill-fitting or broken dentures and doesn’t adhere well to smooth surfaces, silicone, or metal dentures.

Does it have a taste?

No, it doesn't have a taste.

How do you store and what is the expiration date of Cushion Grip?

Store Cushion Grip at room temperature, away from cold environments to prevent it from hardening. Keep the cap tightly closed to avoid product hardening at the neck. When stored properly, Cushion Grip does not expire.

How far out after extraction day can you use Cushion Grip?

Wait until your extraction site has healed and any discomfort has subsided before using Cushion Grip or other denture adhesives. Healing times may vary, so it's best to consult your dentist for personalized guidance.

Caution: Avoid using on open sores or cuts in the mouth or gums. Cushion Grip contains small amounts of alcohol and may cause a temporary burning sensation, similar to mouthwash.

Works great! Stops food from getting under lower and upper dentures. No more wear and tear on gums or having dentist realign. Makes Sea Bond and other adhesive products useless!

We're glad that Cushion Grip works great for you! Thank you for the support!

Maybe I am not using this product correctly...in saying that and the rating I gave...this product, for me...is just an EXPENSIVE denture adhesive...it lasts about 1/2 a day AND I still have to use powder adhesive in top of the cushion grip....😳🙃😳😳😳😳😳😳 isn't that crazy y'all....if I am able to get this stuff( cushion grip) to work like they claim ( 4 days to remain in tack ( yea, not🙃) I will gladly edit/ update and change my rating/ review.....I'm just being truthfully about my experience with this $ 10.00 a tube " adhesive" 😳🙃 This is just expensive adhesive like stuff that does not work for me....JS😣
